The truss in truss structure refers to the truss beam, which is a kind of lattice beam structure. Because the internal tension and pressure forces in the horizontal direction balance themselves, the whole structure does not produce horizontal thrust. The stress characteristic is that the internal force of the structure is only axial force, but there is no bending moment and shear force. The mechanical characteristics reflect the main factors of the actual structure. The axial force is called the main internal force of the truss.
